Cable Ferries Essential Rigging for Marine Transit

Cable Ferries

Essential Rigging for Marine Transit
Operating a cable ferry requires specialized tensioning and a smooth installation process in order to avoid friction and handle aquatic environments. We manage the heavy-duty rigging and cable replacements necessary to keep marine transit routes safe and operational. Our experience with large-diameter cables ensures your ferry system remains anchored in reliability, regardless of the current.

Ziplines & Adventure Parks

Precision Splicing for High-Stakes Recreation

Bridges & Structural Stays

Structural Cable Consulting & Maintenance
Suspension and stay-cable bridges require more than just a cable—they require a master’s eye for tension and termination. We offer third-party consulting and technical services for bridge cable maintenance, including socketing and controlled winching. We work alongside engineering teams to ensure structural cables are pulled, held, and secured with surgical accuracy.

We are fully mobile and equipped for rugged environments. Our dedicated F-350 service rig is outfitted to reach remote job sites, remote ski lifts in mountainous terrain and challenging industrial locations, ensuring we bring the necessary tools directly to your cable.

Yes. Wire rope systems don't wait for perfect weather, and neither do we. We operate year-round across North America and Europe, maintaining peak performance and safety standards in all seasonal conditions.

All Canadian ropeway projects are executed in strict accordance with the CSA Z98 standard. For international projects or industrial crane applications, we strictly follow the relevant regional codes and manufacturer specifications to ensure full compliance and safety.

We have the specialized hydraulic equipment and technical expertise to perform precision splices on wire ropes up to 64mm in diameter.

We provide comprehensive visual inspections and precision measurements on all splices and terminations. For non-destructive testing (NDT), we work in close partnership with Inter-Mountain Testing, utilizing advanced magnetic-flux equipment to ensure the internal integrity of the cable.

We facilitate cable sales from several elite, high-quality manufacturers. By maintaining relationships with multiple global suppliers, we can provide our clients with competitive pricing and the specific cable construction best suited for their application—from specialized ski lift haul ropes to industrial rigging.

For specialized haul ropes (European manufacture), we recommend a minimum lead time of 16 weeks. However, for counterweight cables and non-lift industrial applications, we maintain access to extensive inventory within Canada for much faster mobilization and delivery.
